The Atlantic City Convention Center, built in May of
1997, is one of the largest convention centers on the
East coast and winner of the "Award of Excellence in
Architectural Design." The center, located in the heart
of the Atlantic City Boardwalk, is 20 minutes from Atlantic
City International Airport and connects to the Rail
Terminal and Expressway. The Center is joined by an
air bridge to the adjacent Sheraton Hotel and within
walking distance to many of Atlantic City's Hotels and
Casinos.
The $268 million Atlantic City Convention Center
contains 500,000 square feet of showroom space, 45
meeting rooms, 5 spacious exhibit halls, and 1 Executive
Level Presentation Room. These spaces feature full
service cutting edge communication applications and
technology provided by Verizon's Enterprise Solutions
Group. The center offers catering services, has an
on-site UPS store and a parking garage with 1,400
parking spaces. Several additional public garages
are within walking distance.
