The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center is located
directly outside of Chicago in the city of Rosemont,
a few minutes from O'Hare Airport. The two-story convention
center offers 840,000 square feet of convention space
including 6 halls, 50 meeting rooms and a 30,000 square
foot lobby.
The second level has access to the skywalk system
which connects to the Hyatt Regency O'Hare, the Sofitel
Chicago O'Hare, the Doubletree Hotel Chicago O'Hare
Rosemont and a public parking garage containing 8,000
parking spaces. Parking is available in the garage
for $11 per car or at any of the three hotel facilities.
Those unable to park in the garage or in hotel parking
facilities can take advantage of the street parking
that surrounds the venue. Public transportation is
also available to the facility from both O'Hare Airport
and downtown Chicago via the CTA Rapid Transit System's
Rosemont station (located on the Blue Line).
In addition to the three hotels connected to the
convention center by the skywalk system, there are
four other hotels within walking distance of the property.
There are also over twenty restaurants in close vicinity
to the convention center. Other attractions near the
center include an 18-theater movie complex and the
Allstate Arena, which hosts football, minor league
hockey, and concerts.
