Miami Convention Center, located in the heart of Miami
Beach, hosts several major annual trade shows and leading
convention industry and corporate events. It has hosted
many historic events such as the 1964 Heavyweight Championship
fight between Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) and Sonny
Liston and the 1972 Republican and Democratic National
Conventions. The Center is easily accessible by I-95
and approximately 20 minutes away from Miami International
Airport. Adjacent parking for 880 vehicles is provided.
Other large public parking lots are located within walking
distance and shuttle services are available.
The Miami Beach area is the home of the world famous
South Beach Art Deco District and is often referred
to as "America's Playground." There are several renowned
dining, entertainment, and hotel accommodations available
within easy walking distance of the convention center.
The area is home to world famous nightclubs, white
sandy beaches, and famed shopping.
The Miami Beach Convention Center has 3 floors of
varying exhibition space allowing for a total of 500,000
square feet of exhibition space and 70 flexible meeting
rooms. The on site Business Center has fully trained
clerical staff to assist with photocopying, fax, and
work station services. Concession stands and catering
are available along with telephone and Internet services.
A concierge desk is available to assist attendees
with convention and general information.
