The Minneapolis Convention Center is located in downtown Minneapolis, one block off of the upscale dining and shopping area known as Nicollet Mall. Most of downtown Minneapolis is can be reached on foot from the center via a climate-controlled skyway system. Unique features of the convention center include a quadruple domed roof and a 3,433 seat auditorium that can be broken into 4 separate soundproof sections in just 15 minutes.
